How did you find out about Heath's death? My mother called me to see if I knew. I didn't, so she told me. It was awful, because I didn't have internet and all the info I got was from TV (and you can guess how delicate they were with the subject)
How did it make you feel? Like I'd lost someone dear. My sister and I were so surprised it affected us so much... it was near the anniversary of our first watching of BBM and we had been planning to see it, but we just couldn't. We had a few clippings of the movie on the wall, and we had to take them down - we saved them for when we can put them back up.

How did it make you feel? Disbelief at first because the news title seemed so unreal. I went on the boards and it was all confirmed. I had a moment of silence where I tried to stop myself from crying.
Are you still having a hard time dealing with it? Sometimes, yes. Especially during the months after where news about him came up once in a while. The In Memoriam segment at the Oscars had me in tears. I was so excited for The Dark Knight ever since the teaser came out in December. When July slowly came, I wasn't sure how to feel when I went to see the movie. I'm glad I saw it though.

Why do you love Heath? If you can put it into words: This could go on for a while so I'll try to keep it short. His sincerity. His shyness. His laugh. How deeply involved in each one of his projects he was - if you watch the "behind the scenes" on almost every DVD of his the director/cast always compliments him on how in depth he was, & how they often used ideas of his in his films because he was so intuitive/brilliant. It's very inspiring. I love how obvious it was that he was a fantastic father. I love his brilliance. I just love him.

Why do you love Heath? If you can put it into words: It's so hard to describe exactly why I love Heath. His dedication to his craft and to his daughter were absolutely stunning. He was an amazing person with undeniable talent; but he was always so humble and very personable. He always seemed really honest, sweet, caring, and down to earth; he never let his fame change who he was on the inside. He had kind eyes, a beautiful smile, and a great personality. He's the personification of everything that a Hollywood actor should be. He took his characters and made them his own, in essence, he created art.

How did you find out about Heath's death? I had just got out of an early morning college class and went to breakfast with a friend. As we were sitting at the table I heard a girl say "It's a shame that he's dead, such a good actor. Only 28, and with a baby too." After my classes were complete for the day I went back to my dorm and checked to see who they were talking about. To my utter horror, it was Heath.
How did it make you feel? I felt completely brokenhearted. Then I thought of his daughter, that he loved so much, who would probably never remember him; and I cried. To know that little girl would never remember what an amazing father she had and how much he loved her, made me extremely upset. She lost her father, and she'll never get him back. I lost my favorite actor (he was actually my first celebrity crush) and Hollywood lost an enormous talent and a beautiful soul.
Are you still having a hard time dealing with it? It's not as hard as it was when it first happened, but I still haven't been able to go see Batman yet because of it. I still cry at his movies (especially BBM) and I think I'd look like a complete nutter crying at Batman! :)

I like to do something I fear. I like to set up obstacles and defeat them. I like to be afraid of the project. I always am. When I get cast in something, I always believe I shouldn't have been cast. I fooled them again. I can't do it. I don't know how to do it. There's a huge amount of anxiety that drowns out any excitement I have toward the project.
